Dhaka (May 22): BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Tuesday expressed deep shock at the huge loss of lives and property in a powerful tornado in Oklahoma, USA on Monday.
In a condolence message sent to US President Barack Obama, Khaleda said, “I on behalf of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and on my own behalf would like to express our sincere and deep condolences for those whose precious lives were lost in the shocking incident.”
The BNP chief expressed her and her party’s sympathy for countless injured as well as the colossal damage caused by the tornado. “Please convey my sympathy to the members of the bereaved families.”
